Why Yo-Yo Dieting Is Dangerous

A yo-yo dieter is a person that goes on and off of diets to try and keep weight off. They tend to lose weight quickly and put it back on even quicker. This type of dieting is very dangerous for you. It puts your organs on overload and stretches your skin constantly.

Why Yo-Yo Dieting Is Dangerous

Many yo-yo dieters will use any type of diet that they can find in order to get the weight loss number that they are looking for. In many cases this includes a lot of different pills. All of the different pills can put stress on your organs causing them to not process the way that they should.

Yo-yo dieting or cycle dieting is also very hard to overcome. Many people get so excited over the first weight loss, but are unable to sustain the plan that got them there. A yo-yo dieter usually takes their initial diet to an extreme. Depriving themselves of food to almost the point that they are not eating anything. Initially this works for them. They keep losing weight. Unfortunately either the weight loss will slow down or the dieter gets tired of the diet. At this point the dieter starts eating to make up for the los of the food they deprived themselves of. Doing this puts them back at the same weight or more weight than they were originally at.

After a bit of time they will try the same or a different diet in order to lose the weight again. The cycle will begin again and will keep going until the dieter realizes the error of their diet plan.
