Snoring- A Sleeping Disorder
Many people suffer from sleeping disorders like talking while sleeping, walking and snoring. Among all the tree disorders, snoring is the most common. Frequent pauses during snoring are the identification of the disorder called ‘sleep apnea’. It can be of three types, namely obstructive, central and mixed sleep apnea. The most common one is obstructive. Snoring can happen due to infections, intoxication of any sort and tonsils.
Now, some treatments are available for this disorder. Medication and surgery, if required can heal this disease.
People who are over weight, heavy alcohol drinker and smoker tend to have snoring habits. Try to avoid them and loose few kilograms to avoid snoring. Another reason is deep sleep. Generally, women sleeps lightly and men have deep sleep. So, it is seen more men snores than their female counterpart. Consumption of pills and medicines which are supposed to relax and de stresses you can make you snore. Too much relaxation is the root cause for sleep apnea. When we relaxed our nasal area become blocked and congested.
Drinking herbal tea and inhaling lemon grass in the herbal form can open the congested nose and throat passage. Eucalyptus and other plants from mint family can be used while taking steam. Marjoram oil is very helpful to cure snoring. The goldenrod, ginger and the goldseal from the herbal family can be added with honey to de congest and cure cold by making the person breathing freely.
Do not fear or feel ashamed of snoring. Rather, take charge and cure it. It is not that much hard and impossible thing to do.
